Access to your results is limited to you, laboratory staff, clinicians, and administrators. Some test results must be reported to state health authorities for disease tracking, as required by law.
You are not waiving any of your HIPAA rights when you accept the marketing authorization. Function will not disclose your Protected Health Information to any third party for advertising purposes. We do reserve the right to share aggregated and/or de-identified health data and information with third parties, especially for research, but we will not provide such third parties with any information that would enable them to identify or contact you.
Yes, your health data is yours to control. While we help unlock, translate, and organize your biological data, you can delete it anytime. Remember that deletion is permanent and we cannot recover deleted data.
